Description
Japanese wooden percussion instrument. Size and type of wood material vary.
Used for example in buddhist temples as well at the Kabuki theatre.[2]
Small mokugyo are about tennis ball sized. Large mokugyo might measure 50cm/20inch and more in circumference.
